New 3.38:1 ring & pinion gears for all 1955-1963 Chevy 1/2 ton trucks.
{ will also fit the 1955 1st series Chevy 1/2 ton trucks with open driveline }.
These gears allow you to cruise at 70 MPH while still retaining your original stock driveline.
No need to update drive shafts, rear ends & transmissions for better performance.
This bolt in application is the easiest way to achieve higher speeds & lower RPM's on your vintage Chevy truck.
***Will only fit the original Eaton HO33
rear axle of the 1/2 ton trucks that are equipped with
standard transmission with
the original 3.90 gearing***
Will NOT fit any truck that was originally equipped with automatic transmission.
Will NOT fit any truck that was originally equipped with anything except 3.90 gearing.
