Up for sale is a VERY RARE  Antique / Vintage AARON all Brass Fire Extinguisher.  This was manufactured by the Stemple Fire Extinguisher Company, St Louis, Missouri, U.S.A. This extinguisher has an all brass including the brass embossed plates brass rivets along the back side and its bronze cap.  The Underwriters Laboratories  brass plate has the serial number " 63894 "   This is a lower number and would date this antique prior to 1920.
Based on its Underwriter Laboratories stamp, the wording on the brass emb
ossed plates, and the bronze cap this extinguisher is quite old and is very good condition. remarkable.  There are just a few dents & dings
so it is not mint and as it was used to fight fires
and the soda acid foam contents made contact with the brass causing it to haze some and in some areas, the soda acid leached the zinc out of the brass metal causing it to appear slightly pink in some areas because the metal was returning to its original copper with the zinc removed.
This will make a great gift for the fire fighter / collector or to display very nicely with your fire fighting decor in your garage, shop, den, Man cave or to Display on your vintage Fire Truck, or to repurpose as a Lamp, table base or a fuel tank for your classic
Hot Rod, Rat Rod.  The extinguisher is approximately 24" tall and 7" in diameter with the hanger and the hose sticking out a little further.
The cap is on tightly and there is a rattle inside.
