Here is an unusual  brass fire extinquisher marked BUFFALO FOAM FIRE EXTINQUISHER as well as lots of other information on an impressive, detailed plate on the front. Hose is in good condition at least by appearance. No doubt hardened and brittle as old rubber will become. Size is about 24" tall, 7.5" across and holds 2.5 gallons. The screw on top / lid is red and has raised letters that say Tested to 350 lbs. It has not been pressure tested and it would not pass. The lid has a manufactured hole, no sure what its purpose is. No holes in the outer riveted brass chamber. The outer chamber is watertight, we filled it & tested it. The inner chamber looks pretty rough and has few holes, but at least it's still in there AND it still has the lead cap. When you turned the extinquisher upside down, it would engage. Across the bottom it says Do Not Use on Electrical Fires. Needless to say this item is for display, not be used as a fire protection device. Please review the photos, as always they are the best description. You can always meet us for local pick-up and we can deliver to some areas. Just message us! We apologize for the shipping cost. The Post Office has been BRUTAL lately so we are having to do OVERKILL packaging to prevent destruction.

Shipping
A word about shipping: shipping involves a lot more than postage or UPS charges. We have labels, boxes, packing materials and a "longer than most" trip to the Post Office or UPS. We are very rural and the post office and UPS will not pick up our packages. So we have 10 miles every shipping day and if a buyer pays, we ship IMMEDIATELY, even if their package is the ONLY one to be shipped. We do not over charge for shipping, but sometimes if you are a lot closer than we estimated your shipping expense may be less. Please ask if you think the shipping shown in the auction is too much based on your location, and we will give you an individualized quote. If you live close by you can even pick up!
