Antique Nathaniel Barstow March 1, 1910 Patent SWIVEL TEA STRAINER. The bottom of the drip pan is stamped "Patented Mar. 1, 1910". I couldn’t find any other markings on the piece but a patent for this type of tea strainer was issued to Nathaniel Barstow - Patent No. 950,888 was granted on March 1, 1910. See the last picture for his patent design drawing. Approximately 6-1/2" long, 2" wide and 1-5/8” tall at the strainer end.
Old item with some scuffs, scratches, dirt and some tarnish. Please see pictures for the best description of the item and to determine condition for yourself.
