    Description

    Up for sale is an antique 19th century to turn of last C tin double sifter recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area.  It has two different sets of catalogued inventory collection numbers, one set carved into the handle and the other set painted nearby.  This is quite rusty, can only get one lid off.  Designed for double sifting flour, sift, flip sift again.  Ingenious.  5 CUP DUPLEX SIFTER.  There are holes in the screen but still works.  Neat old collector piece for any country kitchen or baking collection.
