English Steeplechase HorsE Horses Needlepoint Hooked Rug Tan Sage Brown Vintage.
This clearly had a sticker on it at one point but it’s gone now. Appears old fashioned and may be hand made. Interesting mix of needlepoint and hooked rug. Fairly clean. No odor or stains on front
Measures 22” x 41”
Folded but that will easily come out with steam or just laying flat
My mother in law hooks rugs and she thinks this looks handmade in a pattern and that it has a burlap lining under the linen lining. The stitching looks Hand done to her especially where the backing folds over the edges. She thinks maybe it was sold as a pattern with the hooking already done and the embroidery may have been done by a crafter.
