Up for auction is a vintage brass fire extinguisher. The exact year is unknown, but likely the 1930s. It is empty. The label was removed or has fallen off. It is made of brass. Based on similar extinguishers from the same lot, it would suggest that this unit could be a "General Quick Aid Fire Guard" extinguisher made by the General Detroit Corp, but since there are several manufactures and I don't know for sure I will price it accordingly. The item was not tested for function. There are some scratches and signs of wear on the surface. The item is being sold "as is".
