ABS (Anti-Lock Brake Systems) systems are one of a truck's greatest tools when stopping a vehicle. ABS systems stop wheels from locking when a car begins a stop, transferring air through pressure valves and to the wheels so that drivers can still steer while braking, preventing the wheels from locking. ABS systems and their components improve all braking functions even during wet or slippery road conditions.
This Meritor WABCO ABS Relay Valve takes the air pressure from the brake pedal and sends it to the actual brakes on the rear axle to initiate the ABS process when braking the vehicle. This relay valve is designed for tractor rear axle applications. This valve is replaced by relay valve with part number S9730119212.
ABS systems and parts are under warranty for 1 year or 100,000 miles.
