Unusual Oval Hand-hooked Rug with Lt. Brown/Beige Ground & Bright Floral Wreath

Description

Unusual oval hand-hooked rug with light brown/beige background and a bright, cheerful oval floral pattern around the edges in a wreath form. It measures 35” x 24”.
Flowers are stylized and nicely shaded and outlined. They include anchoring red, yellow and pink roses with yellow, white and blue pansies, morning glories in lavender and blues, and other flowers on whites, yellows, and other pastel colors. Dark spruce green and blue green leaves are also intertwined among the flowers and touches of black set off both flowers and leaves - lovely.
This rug is in wonderful condition - seems new. The hooking is tight and of high quality.
The color of the back is very close to the color of the front with no fading, suggesting little use. The tape on the back is intact and like new.
No flaws are observed - no holes, no stains, no pulls.
This little rug is a treasure and could be used and would look great in any room.
