Today we are happy to offer for sale a vintage Hanau dental articulator frame! This very awesome retro piece was manufactured by Hanau Engineering Co of Buffalo, NY, an early 20th century dental apparatus company. An articulator is a mechanical device used in dentistry to which casts of the maxillary and mandibular teeth are fixed, reproducing recorded positions of the mandible in relation to the maxilla. This vintage metal articulator frame, model 26650, features its' original components and includes a pair of extra rotating disks. Articulator presents very well and is in good vintage condition, with minor wear/oxidation, and patina commensurate with age and type of use. Dimensions: 9-1/4" in height (at the highest point), 6" in width, 5-3/4" in depth

Today we are happy to offer for sale a vintage Hanau dental articulator frame! This very awesome retro piece was manufactured by Hanau Engineering Co. of Buffalo, NY, an early 20th century dental apparatus company headed by Dr. Rudolph L. Hanau (1881–1930) who was an American dentist. He is credited with developing the Hanau Articulator. Hanau is also credited with developing the first Kinescope in the field of prosthodontics. An articulator is a mechanical device used in dentistry to which casts of the maxillary and mandibular teeth are fixed, reproducing recorded positions of the mandible in relation to the maxilla. This vintage metal articulator frame, model 26650, features its' original components and includes a pair of extra rotating disks. Articulator presents very well and is in good vintage condition, with minor wear/oxidation, and patina commensurate with age and type of use. This is a great opportunity to acquire an iconic piece of dentistry equipment. Fresh to the market!
