WJ R-100/WJ949 Microwave Receiver with TN-400 2-4 GHz Tuner Plug-In

Here is something you do not see every day: Watkins-Johnson WJ 949 System receiver type R-100 with a TN-400 Tuner plug-in covering 2-4 GHz. The receiver has a 160 MHz Linear IF output and an internal 160 MHz Log Video IF strip to give log amplitude data for an O'scope display as well. The control signal can be analog (IIRC) 0-10 V or a parallel digital word that is exactly the same as the WJ 940 system and the WJ-1740 Airborne Elint system (I may have some data on the word format). This came from the US Navy and was used in the intercept suite on board the 688 class subs way back when. An interesting item but the Navy was not kind to it so it needs some TLC for the front panel, but the tuner innards looks good. I also have other tuners and a triple wide frame for this system so if you are interested I can list them. The YIG oscillator and filter are integrated into a common mechanical package making this unit very compact.  Runs off 115VAC 60 Hz, has internal power supply. Any questions email me. Have fun!
