HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Election Day is officially here and voter service centers across the state are bracing for big crowds.
During the last presidential election in 2020, crowds flocked to service centers as early as 5 a.m. and long lines snaked through buildings.
As of Monday, over 276,000 ballots have been received on Oahu so far. Even more ballots are expected Tuesday.
If you haven‘t registered to vote, it’s not too late.
Residents can still register to vote any time up to the election online or at a voter service center.
Voters must bring a picture ID with them in order to vote.
Election officials are reminding voters who wish to cast their ballot in person, to come prepared.
All Voter Service Centers are open Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Ballots must be received by the County Elections Division by 7 p.m. on Nov. 5.
